You Rock

This week, the Our Craft Lounge design team will be sharing projects using May Arts ribbon. Stop by the OCL blog each day to see a list of designers who will be posting projects combining OCL and May Arts. And, don’t forget to leave some comments everywhere each and every day (details at the end of this post) this week because there will be FIVE prize packages of blog candy this week!

I was intrigued by the cool net trim that was included in my package and wanted to try it out right away. Here’s the clean and simple design I came up with using the net trim. I used it as a background panel behind the chevron stamped panel. The chevrons are from the Every Heart Beat set—love their slightly weathered, distressed look. I stamped them in blue and green inks on a white panel and added a pair of silver brads to the left edge of the panel before layering it over the green net trim. I stamped the set’s “you rock” sentiment in turquoise ink on a turquoise panel and added that to the card. A shiny silver star was the perfect matching embellishment for the design.

Thanks so much to Bethney and May Arts for sending us such FANTASTIC ribbons and trims to play with this week! Now for the details on the blog candy. May Arts sent us lots of YUMMY ribbon to share with all of you so we’ll have 5 prize packages to give away this week. You have lots of ways to enter EVERY SINGLE DAY this week + one BONUS entry!

Daily leave 1 comment on each…

1. the OCL Blog (please leave contact info),
2. each designer’s blog playing along that day, and
3. our Facebook page.

BONUS ENTRY: If you “LIKE” us on Facebook, you’ll get a bonus entry (as long as you tell us you did it) ~ if you've already "liked" us, let us know that too!

We will pick 5 random comments this weekend and our winners will be announced next Tuesday, March 20th on the OCL Blog.
