TCP Tuesday 213-Wishing You Sunshine

***If you're here for the Clear and Simple Stamps Party Hop, scroll down to the post below.***

It’s my turn to host the TCP Tuesday challenge and this for week’s color challenge, we’re going with a fruit-inspired color combination—lemon, orange, and melon. Don’t these colors make you think of summer?

I used the sweet Wet Puddle set for my bright and cheery card. I colored the little puddle jumper in the challenge colors and added a few Liquid Pearl dots to the buttons for dimension. The image is cut out and placed on a white circle with foam tape. I left enough room next to the image to stamp the set’s “wishing you sunshine” sentiment in orange ink.

The card’s layout is based on the current Deconstructed Sketch, stretched a little to fit a standard A2 card instead of a square. It took me a few tries to get the orange baker's twine strands you see behind the image panel wrapped just right, but I really like how it looks. That’s something I probably wouldn’t have tried on my own!

I hope you’ll play along with this week’s challenge for your chance to win some Cat Cash. Just upload your project to the photo album on Alma’s blog to enter—and be sure to keep an eye out for the links to the rest of the Cat Pack’s projects that she’ll be posting throughout the week.
