You're a Lifesaver

For this week's TCP Tuesday challenge, Jen's created a fabulous photo collage celebrating the end of summer.  I incorporated the boat and water theme as well as the bold, bright colors in my card for the challenge.

I used this week's Deconstructed Sketch as my starting point.  My focal image is the sailing bunny from the Aye Aye Captain set.  The bunny's colored with Copic markers and cut out, then placed on a piece of cloud patterned paper with foam tape.  I die cut some turquoise strips with the CutUps Wave die to make water for the boat, then layered those underneath the boat across the cardfront.  The set's "you're a lifesaver" sentiment is stamped on one of the wave strips in black ink.

Most of the cardfront is covered with a piece of sunny yellow patterned paper with machine stitching around the edges.  A strip of multicolored paper runs the length of the card, but it's mostly covered by the image panel.  I added a single white button, tied with some red baker's twine, as an accent.

For all the details on this week’s challenge and how you can play along to be eligible to win this week’s Cat Cash prize, stop by the TCP forum on SCS.
