For this week’s TCP Tuesday challenge, Amy’s drawn up a great sketch. I pulled out the sweet little witch from the appropriately named Witchy set along with some seasonal Halloween colored papers for this one.
The witch is colored with Copic markers and stands on top of a sidewalk I drew in after coloring the image. I probably should have sponged a dark sky around her, too . . . The set’s “best witches” sentiment is stamped next to the witch, just above the sidewalk.
She’s layered over an orange dot embossed panel with a chevron patterned strip along the left side. I zig zag stitched across the top of the chevron panel with my sewing machine before setting the panel on the cardfront. The right edge of the panel has a strip of gray pom pom trim—it’s mostly covered by the image panel, but I promise, it’s there! The cardfront’s covered with some orange dotted paper. I machine stitched around the panel’s edges to break up the orange. I added a pair of black buttons, threaded with silver cord, to the edge of the image panel, anchoring a pair of narrow orange satin ribbon tabs.
