Sock it to Me
Sneaky Peeks of the upcoming release from The Cat’s Pajamas continue today with a look at the new Sock it to Me set. Alma’s take on the traditional sock monkey is too fun!
For this card, I colored the sock monkey image with Copic markers and cut him out, then used foam tape to attach the cutout image to a white panel. The panel’s set on a piece of red and cream plaid paper to coordinate with the monkey’s colors. I adhered the panel to a kraft card base along with a strip of solid red cardstock. I ran a strip of dark brown grosgrain ribbon across the cardfront, hiding the seam between the panels. A strip of kraft cardstock, cut with the CutUps Circus Border die, runs along the bottom edge of the ribbon. I stamped the set’s “sock it to me” sentiment in black ink on a white circle and layered it on a red circle, then used foam tape to adhere it to the cardfront.
Don’t forget to stop by the TCP forum on SCS for more peeks at the new sets and dies to chat with The Cat Pack and other TCP fans on our “In it to Win it” thread.
