Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 223-Beep Boop Birthday

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I picked up a few sets from Lawn Fawn’s latest release at i {heart} papers and decided to ink one of the sets up for this week’s sketch.

Happy Birthday card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn FawnI used one of the fun robots from the Beep Boop Birthday set as the focal image on my card. The robot was die cut with the matching die and colored with Copic markers. I used dimensional dots to adhere the robot to the round panel, then added a cheery red balloon in its hand.

I paired the robot image with some patterned papers from Pink Paislee with clean, graphic prints and a strip of shimmery metallic cardstock. I stamped the set’s “happy birthday” sentiment in black ink on a red cardstock strip and added that to the card along with a few black enamel dots.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
