You're Never too Old to Do Goofy Things
Sneaky Peek Week continues today at The Cat’s Pajamas with a first look at the new Bubbles Happen set. Bubbles Happen is just one of the 8 new stamp sets that TCP will be releasing on July 17 along with 3 new CutUps dies and 2 new Cutables files.
I cut the base of the card from light blue cardstock, then used some pastel patterned paper to cut the matching mats. This file is so fun to work with! It makes a card with lots of dimension, but it’s still easy to mail.
Once it was assembled, I used the CutUps Grass die to cut strips of grass to add at the bottom of the card. I stamped the bubble-blowing penguin in Versafine Onyx Black ink on a matching penguin shape. After coloring the image with Copic markers and coating the bubbles with some sparkly Stickles, I used foam tape to adhere the penguin to the card. To fill in the scene, I used the small dies from the Easy Rosette CutUps set to make a little sun. I attached it to the top of the panel along with a felt cloud.
I kept the other side of the step card simple. The “you’re never too old to do goofy things” sentiment was stamped at the top in black ink. I added some more sparkly bubbles, then scattered a few sequin “bubbles” around the panel.
Be sure to stop by the TCP member company forum on SCS to leave a comment on our In It to Win It thread. Each day of Sneaky Peek Week, one lucky commenter will win one of the new stamp sets before you can buy it!
Don’t miss what the other Cat Pack members have created using this set. Here’s where to find them:
Jessica Rone
Julie Masse
Kelli Hull
Lisa Henke
Lori Tecler--you're here!
Nancy Thomas
Noelle McAdams
Susan Liles
Wendy McGaffey

That little sunshine is so cute to accent this fresh design. Love that paper too - it’s the perfect backdrop for this little guy!
