The Challenge 70-Just Plane Cute

***  Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge!  ***

The Challenge is back with a new challenge!  Next up in our challenge rotation is a masculine photo inspiration challenge.  I took my inspiration from the propeller in the photo and made a plane themed card.

Just Plane Cute card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Papertrey Ink
My plane is from Papertrey Ink's Little Hot Rod set.  To bring in the metallics from the photo, I stamped the bottom half of the plane and its propeller in shiny silver ink.

For the background, I covered the top half of a light blue card base with a scrap of dotted blue patterned paper.  I added a die cut shimmery white stitched cloud strip, edged with more silver, at the bottom of the dotted paper, then placed the plane on top with foam tape for dimension.  The set's "you are just plane cute" sentiment was stamped just beneath the little scene in red pigment ink.

Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created based on this week's inspiration photo.  Here's where to find them:
