Cosmobella Times Two

My stamps from Stamping Bella arrived today. They are just as fun as they looked in the sketches on the web site--and on all of the cute Bella cards I've seen in other people's galleries, too. I had to try them out as soon as I opened the mail, so I completed a VSN challenge tonight using Cosmobella. This card uses paper piercing in two ways--around the scalloped frame and around the edges of the Night of Navy panel for faux stitching. Since I got my mat pack, I've pretty much used paper piercing non-stop on my cards. It's a simple way to add a lot of detail to a card. I colored the Bella with my Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an aquapainter. The scalloped frame and the sentiment are from Stamping Bella, too.

This Bella is called Cosmobella and she HAD to be on my first order, and not just because she's adorable. Coincidentally, the dogs in my family are named Cosmo (mine) and Bella (my sister's cockapoo). How funny is that? This picture of them is from their very first meeting almost three years ago.

Materials Used:
From Stampin' Up!: Rose Red, Night of Navy, and Whisper White cardstock; white gel pen; silver brads; mat pack and paper piercing tool; Watercolor Wonder Crayons; aquapainter; stampin' dimensionals; navy grosgrain
From Stamping Bella: Cosmobella, scalloped frame, "Cheers!" sentiment
Other: patterned paper (DCWV's Pocket Full of Posies matpack); Light Peach marker (Prismacolor)
