Flowahbella Thanks

I couldn't resist taking Kimmie up on the sketch challenge she posted on her blog. I needed to make a few thank you notes and this challenge was just what I needed to get started on them.

This card features one of Stamping Bella's Bellas, the Flowahbella to be exact. This bright flowered paper from DCWV's Pocket Full of Posies mat stack was the perfect match for this Bella. It was also a perfect match for SU!'s Apricot Appeal and Pink Passion cardstock. I colored the Bella with Prismacolor pencils and added some Stickles for details on the flowers she's holding. The sentiment is on a tab made using the ticket corner punch (see this post for specific details on this little trick). That ticket corner punch is one handy little tool! The flowers at the corner of the image are velvet, from a big box of Prima velvet flowers in all different shapes, sizes and colors. I've been waiting for just the right card to come along to bring out those flowers!

Materials Used:
From Stampin' Up!: Small Sayings stamp set; Basic Black, Going Gray, and Pink Passion classic inks; Apricot Appeal, Pink Passion, and Whisper White cardstock; ticket corner punch; dimensionals
Other: Flowahbella (Stamping Bella); small oval stamp (Amuse Art Stamps); Pocket Full of Posies matstack (DCWV); Prismacolor colored pencils; Fruit Punch and Stardust Stickles (Ranger); velvet flowers (Prima); orange brads (Making Memories); pink ribbon (Michaels dollar bin)
