I colored the image with Copic markers and traced around the edges with a light gray marker to make it "pop" a little bit. Then I added some details with Stickles (on the purse and hairband) and a glitter marker (in her hair--like highlights!--and on the ruffles at the edges of her shirt). I stamped the "mwah" sentiment along the left side of the panel in red ink. I started with the middle of the three images, then stamped another image on either side to help space them more evenly. They ended up pretty much even--not totally straight, though . . .
My Cuttlebug is getting tons more use now that I have several sets of the Nestabilities dies to choose from. I used rectangle Nestabilities dies (and the Cuttlebug) to cut the mats and frames for the image. I also used the Cuttlebug to emboss a panel with heart images for the left side of the card.
The final pieces were a piece of red satin ribbon around the front of the card and two sets of pearly white Dew Drops/Bella Baubles in the corners of the card. I set the image on a slant, which is a little "out of the box" for me--I tend to do things in a really linear style, so I thought I'd try to change it up just a little tiny bit . . .
Materials Used:
Mwahbella image and sentiment, pearly Bella Baubles (Stamping Bella); Basic Gray, Basic Black, Real Red cardstock, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); white cardstock (Georgia Pacific); markers and clear glitter marker (Copic); Fruit Punch Stickles (Ranger); rectangle and scalloped rectangle dies (Nestabilities); heart embossing folder (Cuttlebug); red satin ribbon (Michaels)
