Sketches {by Tamara} # 34

Here's a card for this week's sketch at Sketches {by Tamara}. I modified the original sketch a little in my version. Instead of having three equal sized panels on the cardfront, I made my center panel somewhat smaller than the other two I think it works well with what I did.

I used the gift and bow images from SU!'s Big Bold Birthday set. I stamped the images alternating colors and orientation of the gifts. The gift image was stamped off once so that once the dots were stamped over the gifts, they'd stand out a bit. I added a small self adhesive rhinestone to the center of each bow.

For the center panel, I used the "make a wish" sentiment stamped repeatedly. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the images straight--there's no way I could have done this on my own, even with repeated tries! I layered the sentiment panel on a scrap of Bashful Blue just slightly shorter and wider than the panel. I attached it to the card with dimensionals.

Be sure to check out Tamara's blog to see what the other card design team members have created using this week's sketch. If you decide to give the sketch a try, leave a link here in the comments so I can see what you've created, too.

Big Bold Birthday stamp set, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery Classic inks, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White cardstock, Certainly Celery Prints Series designer paper, Stamp-a-ma-jig, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); self-adhesive rhinestones (Joann)
