One Martini . . .

I've had this fun sentiment (1 martini, 2 martini, 3 martini, floor) for a while now and as soon as I saw today's sketch challenge on SCS I knew that I'd pair the sentiment with the fun Stella with an Olive image from Stamping Bella's Pink Suitcase collection. They make a perfect pair. I've had this Stella image for a while now and I can't believe I haven't used it yet! I love the Bella images, but the Stellas are great, too (and the fairies, and the Tiddly Inks images, too. . .). I'm glad that Emily has expanded her offerings to include so many great images by a variety of artists.

I found some funky patterned paper in an SEI paper pack and used that for the large panel on the cardfront. I liked the look of the celery color of the paper paired with the bolder teal mats and the teal satin ribbon across the panel.

Stella is stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers to match the teal and celery colors of the card. I added some sparkle to her wand and crown with a gold Spica pen. I used a red Glaze pen to highlight her lips and the center of the olive, too.

I stamped the sentiment twice--once on white cardstock, then again on a scrap of teal. I used a 1/4" circle punch to punch out the numbers from the teal piece. I attached them over the numbers on the white piece to highlight the numbers in a fun way. I repeated the circle elements (from the patterned paper and the sentiment) with the trio of dome embellishments on the upper left side of the patterned paper panel.

Materials Used:
Stella with an Olive on Top (Stamping Bella); sentiment (Rubber Soul); patterned paper (SEI--Black Orchard line); white cardstock (Georgia Pacific); markers (Copic Ciao); gold glitter pen (Copic Spica); teal satin ribbon, blue acrylic dome embellishments (Michaels); Certainly Celery and Taken with Teal cardstock, 1/4" circle punch, Crystal Effects, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); red Glaze pen (Sakura)
