Kitchen Sink Monday: He Loves Me He Loves Me Not

This week's Kitchen Sink Monday challenge comes from the winner of our latest KSS contest. Connie is joining the KSS Crew Members as our guest designer today. She challenged us to use some of KSS's fabulous floral images to make a Valentine, but without using pink or red.

I turned to the new tulip bouquet set for my card. I stamped the smaller tulip bouquet in shades of yellow. I love yellow tulips--they're so spring-like! I added the round vase to "contain" them, too.

I kept the card pretty simple. I layered the stamped image on a green panel, then layered the image and some coordinating polka dotted paper on a bright yellow cardfront.

I thought for a while about what sentiment to use for a friendly Valentine card before finally settling on the "for my dear friend" sentiment from the 3 Step Hibiscus stamp set. It's stamped to match the panel around the stamped image.
