Vellum Butterfly
Here's my card for today's featured stamper challenge on SCS. I was drawn to the embossed vellum panel on this card, so I used it for my challenge card.
I liked the clean, simple look of the original card, so I kept the look and layout in my version. I replaced the butterfly image in the original with one of the smaller butterfly images from the 3 Step Butterfly set from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I stamped the butterfly on a piece of shimmery white cardstock, then layered it on a brown scalloped circle.
I embossed a piece of white vellum using the Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers folder and layered that on the cardfront. The adhesive is hidden under the pink satin ribbon.
I'll be back tomorrow with more from the Kitchen . . .
Materials Used:
3 Step Butterfly stamp set (Kitchen Sink Stamps); Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, and Close to Cocoa Classic inks, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, and Shimmery White cardstock, white vellum, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); Stylized Flowers embossing folder (Cuttlebug); pink satin ribbon (Michaels); circle and petite scalloped circle dies (Nestabilities); white cardstock (Georgia Pacific)
