Glamour Darling Blog Candy Winner

Thanks to everyone who entered my blog candy giveaway to win the Glamour Darling stamp set from Clear & Simple Stamps. The winner is Kim from Basement Stamper. Congrats, Kim! I'll get in touch with you to get your info so you can get your Glamour Darling set. And, I promised that I'd tell you my favorite CSS set when I revealed the winner. So, here goes--I think it's Martini Darling, at least for the moment . . .

And, I'll leave you with a sneak peek at one of the 8 new sets coming from Clear & Simple Stamps in less than a week. I used images from the new Easter Basket set to create a tag for a carrot-shaped bag full of jelly beans. I paper pieced the jelly bean images in pastel colors to match the jelly beans I used. I tied the bag with a bunch of green ribbon pieces for a fun finish. So sweet and really quick to put together!
***Edited to add: The bags are actually the disposable decorating bags available in the cake/candy decorating aisle at a craft store.***

I'll have more sneak peeks in the days ahead leading up to the release on March 15 . . .

Materials Used:
Easter Basket stamp set (Clear & Simple Stamps); Melon Berry Palette ink, Melon Berry, Sweet Blush, and Lemon Tart cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Whisper White cardstock, large tag punch, tag corner punch, white eyelet (Stampin' Up!); green ribbon (Michaels)

  1. What a cute idea for Easter treats. Where did you find the bag you used? I would love to make some of these up for my kids. jmniffer

  2. Thanks a bunch Lori!!! I like a lot of their sets, not sure I could narrow it down. They e-mailed me for my info already, and I sent it off.

Yeah! Can't wait to get them and use them!
