Raspberry Tart Happy Heart

Just a quick post tonight so I can get back to watching playoff hockey (even though it's not looking too good for the Caps right about now . . .). Here's my card for today's sketch challenge on SCS. I paired the A Happy Heart stamp set with papers from the Raspberry Tart paper collection on this one. I hope this stamp set makes the new catalog--if it does, I'll definitely use it for some of my swaps for this summer's SU! convention.

The delicate flower image was stamped in Rose Red Craft ink, then heat embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder for a pretty sparkle. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiment, inked in black.

I layered the stamped image over a paper pierced panel, then on a panel of patterned paper from the Raspberry Tart paper pack. I used a different pattern from this paper pack to cover most of the Pink Pirouette card base. I wrapped a piece of Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon around the cardfront before attaching the image panel. Even though this has a lot of layers, I think it ended up being a clean and simple card.

Materials Used (all from Stampin' Up!):
A Happy Heart stamp set, Basic Black Classic ink, Rose Red Craft ink, Regal Rose and Pink Pirouette cardstock, Raspberry Tart designer series paper, Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, mat pack and paper piercing tool, Iridescent Ice embossing powder
