Birthday Blog Skip, Hop & Dance
Welcome to the Birthday Blog Skip, Hop & Dance sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.
I think Stella would be a fabulous guest at any party, so I used the Birthday Cake with a Stella in it image for my birthday card. I colored the image with Copic markers and added some fun sparkly embellishments to Stella and the cake. I inked lightly around the edges of the oval panel in soft pink ink so it would be less bright against my colorful background.
This striped paper panel was lying on my desk leftover from another project and it fit perfectly with the festive look and feel I was after here. I tied a piece of pink grosgrain ribbon around it before layering my matted image on. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the “put your party hat on” sentiment on a circle punch (notice Stella’s candle “hat”?). I originally got this sentiment to go with another stamp, but when I was making this card I realized it would work perfectly with this image, too.
Thanks for hopping by today. Your next stop is Tink's blog, Tink Time. Enjoy!
Be sure to leave comments as you hop along. In addition to the fabulous eye candy, there’s a prize hidden somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $40 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments so you have a chance to win!! The winner will be announced in the Stamping Bella SCS Forum on Monday.
