Dotted Daisy

Here’s my card for today’s SCS sketch challenge. It features the very first stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps—the 3 Step Daisy set. This set was our introduction to the innovative multistep images that KSS has become known for and I’m so sad to see it on the list of sets that will soon retire.

The daisy image is stamped in shades of yellow ink, then cut out and attached to the white panel with a dimensional. I coated the image with a light layer of Butter Cream Shimmerz for some sparkle.

I kept the rest of the card simple to let the pretty daisy image shine. I used a pair of dotted paper panels underneath the image and added a coordinating dotted background panel using papers from the My Mind's Eye Grow Collection Kit. The "many thanks" sentiment from the Never a Loss 4 Words set is stamped directly on the cardfront.

Don’t forget that the annual KSS 6 Months Until Christmas sale begins tomorrow (Thursday) and runs through Saturday. It’s your last chance to get some of your favorites—and at a discount, too!

Materials Used:
3 Step Daisy and Never a Loss 4 Words stamp sets, pearl Dew Drops (Kitchen Sink Stamps); Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise, Ripe Avocado, and Dark Chocolate Palette inks, Summer Sunrise cardstock (Papertrey Ink); So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Close to Cocoa Classic inks, Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock, dimensionals (Stampin' Up!); patterned paper (My Mind's Eye Grow Collection Kit); Butter Cream Shimmerz
