Cheers to Bellarific Friday
Here’s my card for this week’s Bellarific Friday sketch challenge. I went back to my very first Stamping Bella image for this one—the fabulous Cosmobella!
Cosmobella is colored with Copic markers to coordinate with the colors in the My Mind’s Eye designer papers I used for the panel on the cardfront. I sponged around the edges of the panel in coordinating inks, too, before layering it on a scallop edged mat. The colors on this card were a nice (temporary, probably) break from the brighter, summery colors I’ve been using a lot of lately.
The two designer papers that cover most of the 4 1/4" square card are divided by a piece of dotted grosgrain ribbon. I added a few more circle elements with the “cheers!” sentiment panel and the small dots of Gold Liquid Pearls on each of the scallops on the image mat. Cheers!
Materials Used:
Cosmobella image and sentiment (Stamping Bella); white Pure Luxury cardstock (Gina K Designs); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers, gold Spica pen (Copic); More Mustard, Crushed Curry, and Soft Suede Classic inks, More Mustard and Soft Suede cardstock, Soft Suede dotted grosgrain ribbon, 1” and 1 ¼” circle punches, dimensionals (Stampin’ Up!); designer paper (My Mind’s Eye Bloom and Grow line); circle and scalloped circle dies (Nestabilities)
