Apple(tini) Basket

It’s the first of the month and time for a new template reveal from Clear & Simple Stamps. Each month, CSS shares a brand new, free template on its website. Sue has designed a fun apple basket, perfect for back-to-school treats or lots of other things. You can download this month’s template here. It will work perfectly with the brand new A+ Darling set, this month's Stamp of the Month, and this month's featured Copic Trio Bundle, Red 2 (R20, R24, R29). And, you can use the code DTBlog809 for a $1 discount on the Stamp of the Month.

Here’s my version of the apple basket. I spied this apple green mini cocktail shaker and tiny drink recipe book in the Dollar Spot at Target and thought it would be a great fit in the basket and make a fun gift. I constructed the basket from Creamy Caramel cardstock, sponged with some slightly darker Close to Cocoa ink. I added the wooden handle (available here in the CSS store) and a matching apple green grosgrain ribbon bow as decoration. I used images from the Martini Darling set to create a tag for the basket.

For other creative ideas using this template, check out what the rest of the CSS DT has created. Here’s where you can find them:
