Bellarific Thursday?

Here’s my card for this week’s Bellarific Friday sketch from Stamping Bella--yes, on Thursday (but pretty close to Friday--yay!). I went with the pretty charm image on this one—reminds me that I should wear my own bracelet like this more often. I used to wear it every day, but it gets in the way sometimes when I’m working at the computer, so I haven’t pulled it out lately.

Anyway, here’s the card. The bracelet was stamped in Versamark, then heat embossed in silver for a true-to-life, shiny look. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the placement for the charm. Since the font on the sentiment inside the charm is so tiny, I decided to stamp it in plain gray ink instead of attempting to heat emboss it and being annoyed because I couldn’t read the sentiment easily.

I used an Amy Butler damask patterned paper panel on the cardfront—a little out of the ordinary for me, but it seemed to work nicely with the bracelet image. I added a solid gray panel, kind of picking up the silver in the bracelet, along the bottom of the card and a pretty, girlie pink bow.

Materials Used:
Bracelet image (Stamping Bella); London Fog ink (Memento); Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray, and Whisper White cardstock, silver embossing powder (Stampin’ Up!); designer paper (k & Company-Amy Butler Lotus); circle dies (Nestabilities); pink ribbon (Michaels); Sweet Blush button, twine (Papertrey Ink)
