Kitchen Sink Monday: Birthday Hooray

It's time for another Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday. I've been in a fall card making mode as of late, so I thought it would be nice to step out of that a bit today and use some more spring-like colors for my KSS creation.

Here's what I came up with using the 3 Step Honey Bunny stamp set--the perfect springtime image. I stamped the small bunny image and the multi-step grass image on a light blue panel. There was plenty of room left at the top of the panel for the two-line happy birthday sentiment, stamped in rose ink. I added a pair of layered Prima flowers with a Dew Drop at the center to the upper left corner of the card as a simple embellishment.

The layout of the card is pretty simple to keep the focus on the cute bunny. I used a green gingham print to cover most of the olive card base and added a trio of punched out pink polka dotted paper squares along the bottom of the panel.
