Winter Wishes on Wednesday

Here’s my version of this week’s Viva la Verve sketch challenge. I interpreted the sketch kind of loosely, replacing the round panels with the colored mittens from the Verve digi set shared before last week’s release. The mittens are colored in red and blue to coordinate with the fun Bo Bunny designer papers I used for the panels on the cardfront. I also added a tiny rhinestone to the center of the snowflake on each ribbon. A silver cord serves as the “string” that connects the mitten pair to each other.

I ended up adding a small red panel for the sentiment from the Snow Wonderful set. I tested the sentiment in black against the patterned background using my Stamp-a-ma-jig imaging sheet and it looked lost against the pattern, so I went with the small panel for the sentiment.

Materials Used:
Snow Wonderful stamp set, digi stamp set (Verve Stamps); white cardstock (Neenah); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red cardstock, silver cord, dimensionals (Stampin’ Up!); designer paper (Bo Bunny-Tis the Season line); Tiny Twinkles (Taylored Expressions)
