How AMOOSEing
Mooth, the moose from the new DoodleFactory Arctic set from Starving Artistamps is such a cutie! Here, I put Mooth in a setting inspired by this week’s Tuesday Trigger from the Moxie Fab World blog.
The moose is colored with Copic markers and carefully cut out. I added a little white flock, too, for some texture. I set the moose on a kraft background, stamped with the trees from the DoodleFactory Great Outdoors set. It’s hard to see in the photo, but the trees are highlighted with just a bit of Stardust glitter pen. The edges of the panel are brushed with some white pigment ink for a soft, snowy look.
I put the simple scene on a red background. The “that’s amooseing” sentiment is stamped alongside the scene in white ink. I added a bright red bow and a little faux stitching as simple accents.
Don’t forget, you can use the discount code savetenLT to save 10% on your DoodleFactory and Starving Artistamps stamp purchases at Starving Artistamps.
Materials Used:
DoodleFactory Arctic and Great Outdoors stamp sets (Starving Artistamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa inks (Memento); Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Kraft cardstock, scallop edge punch, white gel pen, mat pack and paper piercing tool (Stampin’ Up!); Fresh Snow ink (Papertrey Ink); white Fun Flock (Stampendous); red grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); clear Stardust pen (Sakura)
