Soft Sympathy

I needed to make a sympathy card, so I took some inspiration from the leafy floral card I made on Sunday for this soft creation using supplies from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the smaller leafy branch image from Turning a New Leaf first in Spring Moss ink on Lavender Moon cardstock. It had a brownish tint to it, so I stamped over it with some Avocado Mist ink--good quick fix!

I stamped the flower image from Everyday Celebrations twice in Lavender Moon ink. The ink is just a bit darker than the cardstock, so it worked perfectly for a soft tone on tone look. A teeny, tiny dot of Petal Pink Liquid Pearls is at the center of each flower.

The simple sympathy image from Beyond Basic Borders is stamped a little above the branch image in darker Plum Pudding ink. I used a sponge to lightly brush ink around the edges of the panel in matching Lavender Moon ink . A piece of dotted satin ribbon is tied around the panel. I layered it on a Plum Pudding panel, then on the Lavender Moon card base.

Materials Used:
Turning a New Leaf, Beyond Basic Borders, and Everyday Celebrations stamp sets, Plum Pudding, Lavender Moon, Ripe Avocado, and Spring Moss inks, Plum Pudding and Lavender Moon cardstock, Lavender Moon Swiss dot satin ribbon (Papertrey Ink); Pink Petal Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
