Blogger Challenge: Week 134
This week’s blogger challenge is a color one featuring one of my most favorite color combinations ever-pink, brown, and white. I turned to a cute set from Kitchen Sink Stamps for this sweet card.
I used a combination of brown inks to stamp the sweet dog image on a white panel. I stamped backwards, starting with image 4 using these inks: SU!’s Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, and Vivid’s Tuscan Tan. The image is matted on a brown panel.
The rest of the cardfront is done in shades of pink. I used a piece of dotted paper from the retired SU! Sweet Always paper pack to cover most of the cardfront. I added a coordinating Pretty in Pink panel across the front of the card with a dainty scalloped heart border, courtesy of a Martha Stewart border punch. A white satin ribbon, tied in a bow, is wrapped around the panel. The set’s “puppy love” sentiment is stamped in rose ink added at the top of the image panel. It’s accented with a felt heart and a tiny button.
