Blogger Challenge: Week 141
This week’s blogger challenge theme is shades of green (plus neutrals). I used my Irish Kiss stamp set from Clear & Simple Stamps for this quick green card.
I stamped the set’s shamrock image in black ink on 3 green cardstock squares. A fourth square, smaller and a lighter shade of green, was stamped with the “lucky charm” sentiment from the Month to Month I stamp set. I accented the words with a deep green brad, then layered the square on a white mat for contrast. The squares were arranged on a lighter green panel that was embossed with a dot pattern to add some interest. A green satin ribbon was knotted around the panel before I attached it to a white card base.
For more green ideas, you can check out what the rest of the challenge players have created. Links to their blogs are in the sidebar on the right.
Materials Used:
Irish Kiss and Month to Month I stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, green brad (Clear & Simple Stamps); Glorious Green and Certainly Celery cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); white cardstock (Georgia Pacific); 1 ¼” and 1 3/8” square punches (EK Success); green satin ribbon (Michaels)l Polka Dot embossing folder (QuicKutz); foam tape
