Krafty Earth Day!

In honor of Earth Day, Clear & Simple Stamps is releasing a special line of kraft cardstocks. If you’re like me, you can’t get enough kraft and will love the variety of these new kraft colors. The line will include Kraft Like a Rockstar (already available), Kraft Like a Rockstar Cream (a rustic cream), Kraft Like a Rockstar Green (an awesome olive kraft!), Kraft Like a Rockstar Ivory (a warm ivory kraft), and Kraft Like a Rockstar Brindle (a tan kraft with flecks of color). Ribbons, ink and buttons will be available to match the Kraft Like a Rockstar Green, too.

Clear & Simple Stamps has a great collection of Earth Day themed stamps, found in the store's Green category. I made an ATC featuring an image from one of the Green sets, Eco Chic Darling. The Darling’s getting ready to take out her recycling bin for collection. I’m glad I remembered to do this yesterday morning before I left for work! I colored the Darling with Copic markers, then inked around the edges with some brown ink for a softer, distressed look.

I stamped the “go green” sentiment from the Do Your Part set and cut apart the words, then attached them to pieces of Glamazon Green cardstock. They’re attached to the bottom of the ATC. A pair of matching green brads fills the white space in the top right corner of the card. I layered the colored panel on a kraft panel to finish the ATC.
