A Little Rain

We’ve had our share of rain over the past few days! It was pretty stormy Sunday night into Monday and gray and gloomy all day before it poured again in the evening. Chloe the cutie puppy and I were out for a long walk and got caught in the downpour about 10 minutes from home—fun, fun, fun . . . This card for this week’s Our Craft Lounge sketch challenge is just perfect for weather like that!

I used the rainbow image from the Ducky Days set as my focal image. I masked the rainbow with Eclipse tape so I could stamp the partial sun image peeking out from behind it. The image is colored with Copic markers. I added some Stickles to the cloud for a fun look. The sentiment fit nicely underneath the stamped image.

I used both sides of a piece of My Mind’s Eye designer paper for the panels on the cardfront. The striped pattern kind of reminded me of a rainbow. A piece of sparkly lime green glimmer ribbon stretched across the card with a Bow Easy bow accent completed the card.
