It's a sleepy Saturday morning here. I had a late dinner last night with Kate from i {heart} papers. It was fun to catch up and to have a chance to introduce our dogs to each other, too. Chloe the cutie puppy had a really busy day yesterday with lots and lots of visitors, so she was totally wiped out last night. I think we'll have a quiet day today so she can recover a bit. She can play with her toys and sleep and I can stamp a bit.
Speaking of stamping, here's my card for this week's Bellarific Friday challenge from Stamping Bella. This week's challenge was a theme one--"getting hitched." I didn't have too many Bella images that would work for a card like this, so I turned to pretty much the only one in my stash--Kissieface.
I colored the image with Copic markers. It's on a simple white panel with a little extra room at the top. I left the white space so I could add a banner-like sentiment panel covering part of the image panel. I stamped the "love is in the air" sentiment on a pink strip and notched one end. The opposite end has a heart brad embellishment. Too bad I didn't notice that the brad was askew before I took the photo . . . The image is matted on a red panel that helps it stand out nicely against the pale pink paper with a subtle heart and dot pattern.
oh what a cute card. Great for anytime of the year.
