Those colors made me think of ice cream, so I went with this little cutie, Amplee'TUDE, holding an ice cream cone in her hand. She’s colored with Copic markers in colors pretty close to the challenge colorsI paired the image with two different pieces of dotted designer papers—one in celery and one in pink. A satin ribbon separates the two patterns. I added a scalloped scallop strip underneath the ribbon for some interest. The image panel is matted on a pink mat, then attached to the cardfront with one edge slid under the ribbon. I slipped a tab, stamped with the “sweet” sentiment and accented with a green sparkly brad, under the image panel to finish the card.
Speaking of sweet, Chloe the cutie puppy and I are off to yet another session of puppy kindergarten. We've been practicing sitting, walking side by side, and safe greetings this week. Hopefully she'll show off a bit in class!
