Thank You
Today's SCS clean and simple challenge was to create a card for a hero. In honor of Memorial Day, here's my card.
I stamped the flag image from the Freedom set from Clear & Simple Stamps in black ink across strips of red, white, and blue cardstock. The "thank you" sentiment from the limited edition Thank You set is stamped at the bottom. A pair of silver brads in the upper right corner accent the image. I matted the stamped image on a white panel. To set the panel off just a bit from the white card base, I added a strip of red across the base, then layered on the panel using foam tape.
Thank you today (and every day!) to all the brave men and women who have served to defend and preserve America's freedom.
Materials Used:
Freedom and Thank You stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, A Blanc Check cardstock (Clear & Simple Stamps); Real Red and Not Quite Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver brads (Making Memories); foam tape
