Blogger Challenge: Week 157/Friends with Flair
This week’s blogger challenge is a color challenge—blue, kiwi, and white. I went with a teal-ish kind of blue for my adorable little boy card featuring the dinosaur image from Unity’s Sketchy Little Boy kit. I have a few special little boys in my life, so I’m always on the lookout for fun little boy stuff.
I colored the dino with Copic markers in a few shades of green, then cut the image out. It’s layered on a little outdoor scene made with some cloud patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye for the sky and some Jillibean Soup grid patterned paper for the grass. I used my sewing machine to zig zag stitch the seam where the two different papers meet.
I stamped the kit’s “dino-mite” sentiment in matching blue ink on a circle and made a layered sentiment panel, incorporating the arrow sticker that came with the set of My Mind’s Eye papers.
For more cards using this color combination, you can check out what the rest of the challenge players have created. Links to their blogs are in the sidebar on the right. And, for more Unity inspiration, visit the Unity blog for the list of Friends with Flair players.
