So Sweet

Here’s my card for the latest Mojo Monday sketch. I used one of the bear images from the new Antidepresstamps line available at Starving Artistamps for the focal image. These bears are just too cute! I used the Love Bear image on this card. The bear is colored with Copic markers, then layered on a cream panel with brown inked edges. The heart above its head is filled in with a red Spica pen for a little shimmer and sparkle. I stamped the “so sweet” sentiment from the Simple Sweet Sayings set on a fancy edged blue panel and attached it under the image panel like a tab.

I used a trio of patterned papers from the My Mind’s Eye Be Loved collection for the cardfront. The pattern with the largest scale covers most of the cardfront and the other two make nice accent panels. To add some texture, I wrapped a piece of blue twill around the top of the blue striped paper. Three copper brads run along the bottom of the panel.
