I started with a Green with Envy card base and added a strip of argyle patterned paper along the left side of the card. A strip of twill tape is stapled along the edge of the patterned paper to add texture and interest.
I stamped the set’s two-step golf ball image in gray ink (stamped off once for a lighter shade) on white paper, then in black to add the detail, then carefully cut the image out. The tee is stamped on Kraft Like a Rockstar Brindle, one of the papers in the Kraft Like a Rockstar Collection, then cut out. It really has a wood-like look, perfect for the tee. The tee’s attached directly to the cardfront. I added the golf ball using foam tape, slightly overlapping the tee. The “tee time” sentiment is stamped on the cardfront using black ink.
I have a coordinating project featured today on the Clear & Simple Stamps iPhone app. Be sure to stop by and check it out. And, don’t forget that Clear & Simple Stamps will is highlighting its great collection of golf-themed sets this month.
