More Across the Miles
Here's another card featuring the just released Across the Miles set. Check out my post below for the full details on this month's release from Clear and Simple Stamps (including a discount code for this fun set) and links to the rest of the talented CSS design team. This card is for today's SCS featured stamper challenge and is based on this rocket ship card created by Alanna.
I replaced Alanna's rocket ship with the hot air balloon from Across the Miles. The balloon is stamped on white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and cut out. It's added to the cardfront using foam tape. The card base is made from the new Trendsetter Blue cardstock. I randomly scattered some die cut felt clouds across the card before adding the balloon. The "thanks for the lift" sentiment fit nicely next to the balloon. The red pops so nicely against the soft blue card base.
Materials Used:
Across the Miles stamp set, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, Trendsetter Blue and A Blanc Check cardstock (Clear & Simple Stamps); markers (Copic-R12, R22, R24, R27, E35); Real Red Classic ink (Stampin' Up!); cloud dies (Papertrey Ink); felt; foam tape
