Introducing Topiaries

It’s time to introduce the September Stamp of the Month from Clear & Simple Stamps. This month’s set is Topiaries. This set features different shaped topiary images and decorative pots to set them in that can be mixed and matched for a variety of looks. You can use the discount code CSS0910 to get a $1 discount on your purchase of this set during the month of September. And, along with this stamp set, we’re featuring the Copic Trio Bundle Earth Trio 2 this month, which includes E11, E15, and E19. To go with this Trio, we’re introducing a brand new color story, Espresso Your Style. You’ll be able to get this beautiful brown shade in perfectly matching cardstock, ink (and reinker), ribbon, and buttons. I used some of it on my card for today so you can see how it looks in action. Be sure to stop by the store and check it all out.

Here’s a card featuring the new set and color. I combined one of the topiary images with a fun Flower Soft mix for a pretty, textured look.

I stamped the image using CSS’s black ink, then colored it with Copic markers. I used a very pale green on the topiary as a base for my Flower Soft. After covering the image with adhesive, I sprinkled on the Flower Soft—so pretty! One of the set’s sentiments is stamped in the new Espresso Your Style ink along the side of the image panel on a kraft strip, setting it off a little against the white panel.
To keep the focus on the image, I kept the rest of the card simple. I added a panel of designer paper with colors that coordinated nicely with the ones in my Flower Soft mix and ran a strip of Kraft Like a Rockstar green ribbon across the card, embellishing it with a little bow.

I’ll have more samples featuring images from this set throughout the month. In the meantime, be sure to visit the rest of the CSS design team to see what they’ve created using the Topiaries stamp set. Here’s where to find them:
