After coloring the image, I played around with different pattern and color arrangements before settling on what you see here. I used two papers from Echo Park’s Sweet Summertime collection on the cardfront. For some texture, I used a red panel that was embossed with some dots. A satin ribbon runs around the card, knotted right near the image panel. I used some pink baker’s twine threaded through the knot to attach the sentiment panel.
Materials Used:
Forget about the Cake stamp set, pink Divine Twine (The Cat’s Pajamas); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers, orange Spica pen (Copic); Hibiscus Burst cardstock, Hibiscus Burst satin ribbon (Papertrey Ink); Real Red and Pumpkin Pie cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Sweet Summertime collection (Echo Park); Polka Dots embossing folder (Sizzix); circle punches (EK Success)
