The Ketto image is stamped on a white panel. The images are colored with Copic markers. I outlined her with a pale yellow marker for a super soft glow. A fairy wouldn’t be complete without some shimmer, so her wings are made sparkly with some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I stamped the “i heart you” sentiment along the side of the image.
I thought that this image was a great match for the look and feel of the papers in the Sassafras Lass Indie Girl collection, so I pulled out a heart patterned panel from the paper pad to cover most of the cardfront. A strip of aqua ribbon, edged with a fancy scalloped border, runs along the left side of the patterned paper panel. It needed a little something to fill in the open space at the bottom of the card, so I added a die cut felt heart along with a baker's twine threaded button to finish the card.
Materials Used:
Lulu Ketto image and sentiment (Stamping Bella); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Aqua Mist and Simply Chartreuse cardstock, Aqua Mist grosgrain ribbon, Simply Chartreuse button, Hawaiian Shores felt (Papertrey Ink); Indie Girl designer paper (Sassafras Lass); Scallop Trim border punch, Dazzling Diamonds (Stampin’ Up!); heart die (Spellbinders); baker’s twine (The Twinery)
I'm a sucker for adorable fairies! Love how she came out...so sweet!
