Happy Fall from Clear and Simple Stamps
It’s time to introduce the November Stamp of the Month from Clear & Simple Stamps. This month’s set is Happy Fall. This set features a collection of seasonal images and sentiments. If you’re a fan of the Sweet Hearts set released earlier this year, Happy Fall might look familiar to you. The Happy Fall set is created in a similar style and you can even use the solid tree image from the Sweet Hearts set interchangeably with the new fall set. You can use the discount code CSS1110 to get a $1 discount on your purchase of this set during the month of November. And, along with this stamp set, we’re featuring the Copic Trio Bundle Blue Green Trio 3 this month, which includes BG72, BG75, and BG78. To go with this Trio, we’re introducing a brand new color story, A Clean Slate. You’ll be able to get this beautiful blue shade in perfectly matching cardstock, ink (and reinker), ribbon, and buttons. I used some of it on my card for today so you can see how it looks in action. Be sure to stop by the store and check it all out.
Here’s a card featuring the new set and color. I made a sympathy card for this week’s SCS clean and simple challenge. I used the images to create a simple scene. The tree and bench images are stamped in brown ink on the A Clean Slate panel. I used the matching solid image from the Sweet Hearts set to fill in the tree trunk, stamping off once first to get a slightly softer shade of brown ink.
I tore some Kraft Like a Rockstar Green cardstock to layer at the bottom of the card for grass. The “with sympathy” sentiment from the Month-to-Month Extras set is stamped at the bottom of the card. There was a lot of “white space” left on the card and it looked unbalanced, so I filled it in a bit with an angled strip of A Clean Slate satin ribbon with a matching button knotted around it.
I’ll have more samples featuring images from this set throughout the month. In the meantime, be sure to visit the rest of the CSS design team to see what they’ve created using the Happy Fall stamp set. Here’s where to find them:
