Friends with Flair: Stuck on You
Happy Friday! Here’s my simple and sweet card for this week’s Friends with Flair. I used the bandage image from Unity's Heart Times kit for a fun Valentine card.
I stamped the bandage image repeatedly in black ink on a cream panel, using my stamp positioned to get the image relatively straight and where I wanted it. I stamped an extra image on a scrap, colored it with Copic markers and glittered it up with some Stickles, then added that to the panel using dimensional dots. The rest of the bandages were purposely left plain to help the single raised one really stand out.
I layered the panel on a red mat, then tied a piece of red and cream checked ribbon around the panel. It’s secured at the bottom with a red button and some twine. The panel is attached to a kraft card base—love how it looks with the checked ribbon. The kit’s “stuck on you” sentiment is stamped just underneath the image panel to complete the card.
Be sure to check the Unity blog for the full list of FWF players.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Unity Stamp Co. Heart Times kit, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers (R12, R22, R24, E00, E11), Ranger Fruit Punch Stickles, May Arts ivory/red checked ribbon, Creative Impressions natural twine, Zva Creative dimensional dots
other: Real Red and Crumb Cake cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); cream cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
