I arranged the rest of the elements on the card to cover the indentation left by the top of the impression plate. A Hawaiian Shores circle sits on top of the tag with a felt “5.” The “who’s turning” sentiment from Big Birthday Wishes is stamped on a double-ended banner die cut that stretches across the card, underneath the felt numeral. I added a Harvest Gold button, tied with some baker’s twine, to balance out the elements.
The tag is tied with a scrap of Hawaiian Shores grosgrain ribbon, then set on a piece of red Bitty Star Basics patterned paper. I matted it on a Hawaiian Shores panel, then set the piece on an Aqua Mist cardfront.
Materials Used:
BigBirthday Wishes stamp set, Pure Poppy ink, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist and Kraft cardstock, Bitty Star Basics patterned paper, By the Numbers impression plate, By the Numbers Collection (5) , double-ended banner, and Tag Sale #1 dies, Pure Poppy felt, Hawaiian Shores grosgrain ribbon, Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); circle die (Spellbinders); baker’s twine (Timeless Twine)
Really pretty, Lori! Love the colors and the partly embossing adds just that bit of extra! Good luck on the challenge!
