Purses Are Like Good Friends
I guess you could say that I really embrace the sentiment on this card. I have a sizeable collection of purses and can’t seem to stop adding to it—LOL! You can find the sentiment in the Just Your Style set, this month’s Stamp of the Month at Clear and Simple Stamps. Check the set out here—and don’t miss the matching Simple Cuts dies, too.
To go with the sentiment, I stamped the strip of small purses twice on a white cardstock panel and colored the purses with Copic markers. Once the purses were all colored in, I layered the strip on a pink panel and paper pierced along the top edge.
The image strip is layered on a piece of patterned paper with several shades of pink—fun and girly! I wrapped a piece of CSS’s pink satin ribbon around the bottom edge of the stamped panel and added a bow made with my Bow Easy. The sentiment is stamped on a Coral Necklace panel—one of my favorite of CSS’s expanded line of colors. I rounded the edges, then slipped it underneath the bottom edge of the image panel. The piece is adhered to a Coral Necklace card base.
