I stamped one of the bird images from Our Craft Lounge’s Tweet Thang stamp set and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped the image a second time, colored just the bird’s wing, cut it out, and attached it to the image with a dimensional dot. The image is set on an aqua card front, using another dimensional dot, with a little punched grass strip underneath it.
For a festive look, I made a simple banner to string across the card’s upper left corner. It’s just a few narrow patterned paper strips with a notched piece snipped out of the bottom edges, folded over a length of green baker's twine. The banner's anchored with knots at the end of the twine and secured with glue dots.
I paired the image with the “happy bird-day” sentiment from the coordinating Tweet Trees stamp set. The sentiment's stamped so it's like the bird is saying the words. Fun!
