Blogger Challenge: Week 211
This week's blogger challenge theme is "floral frenzy." I combined it with this week's Our Craft Lounge challenge to make a clean and simple card using floral images and came up with this bright thank you.
I used three different solid flower stamps from the Build-a-Bouquet stamp set along with three coordinating shades of ink to stamp a floral strip running diagonally from corner to corner on a white cardstock panel. Once the flower images were stamped, I added small self-adhesive pearls to their centers for a little texture and sparkle.
Small sentiments looked lost alongside the floral strip, so I decided on the large "thanks" sentiment from the Big Thanks set, stamping it in the open space on the left side of the card. The smaller "for everything" is stamped just beneath it. I layered the stamped panel on a coordinating orange mat, then on a yellow card base. Clean and simple and easy to reproduce, too. This would make a great design for a set of cards in different shades (think pinks and reds, blues and purples ).

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Our Craft Lounge Build-a-Bouquet and Big Thanks stamp sets, Tsukineko Memento Dandelion, Tangelo, and Cantaloupe inks, Zva Creative pearl lines
other: Daffodil Delight cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sweet Mango cardstock (Gina K Designs); white cardstock (Xerox)
