Flowery Inspiration
This simple, cheery card is for this week's Our Craft Lounge inspiration challenge. I was inspired by the trail of butterflies on one of the pillows in the photo as well as the photo's colors. I used the latest sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping to pull this one together in no time at all.
I stamped several of the solid flower images from the Build-A-Bouquet set in different coordinating inks randomly on the right side of a white panel. Each of the flowers has a small self-adhesive pearl at the center for an elegant touch. The "enjoy your special day" sentiment from the Big Birthday Wishes set sits along the bottom of the left side of the panel, stamped in the boldest of the ink colors to stand out.
The rest of the card was assembled quickly with the help of a scrap of dotted patterned paper and a strip of olive cardstock, embossed with a dot pattern. All of the pieces are set on a light blue card base.
Check out the OCL blog for all the details on the challenge. A new one is posted every Friday and participants have a chance to win an OCL stamp set!
Materials Used:
