Introducing Beauty Secrets II
It’s time to introduce the July Stamp of the Month from Clear and Simple Stamps. This month’s set is Beauty Secrets II—a super-feminine set that includes different beauty product images and a variety of coordinating sentiments. It coordinates perfectly with the re-releasing Beauty Secrets set and one of CSS's signature Darling sets, Spa Darling, too.
I went clean and simple with this one to showcase the set’s fun grouping of jars, tubes, and brushes. I stamped the image repeatedly on a strip of A Blanc Check cardstock, using a sticky note as a mask to get the nicely lined up look. After stamping, I used Copic markers to color in the images, keeping a consistent color scheme for each individual element.
I set the panel on a pink cardfront with a panel of pink paper with yellow dots (that are actually lemons if you look closely—I probably should have done that before picking the paper . . .). A strip of yellow baker’s twine is wrapped beneath the image and tied off nicely in a bow. I stamped the set’s “have a lovely day” sentiment in black ink on a pink panel and slid it underneath the bottom of the image panel.
I’ll have more samples featuring images from this set throughout the month. In the meantime, be sure to visit the rest of the CSS design team to see what they’ve created using the Beauty Secrets II stamp set. Here’s where to find them:
