Shout Out a Smile

Here’s another card featuring one of the fun critters from the new Shout It Out set from Our Craft Lounge. I love their big, wide open mouths!

For this one, I used the gator image. The gator’s colored with Copic markers and cut out. I used dimensional dots to set him on a circle panel with a cork bottom for a nice, earthy feel.

The rest of the card is pretty simple. I attached a panel of circle patterned paper to a green card base, then stretched a strip of matching green ribbon across most of the card. I slipped a strip of yellow cardstock cut with a pinking edge die underneath the bottom of the ribbon—kind of like gator teeth, right? The image panel is set on the card to cover the end of the ribbon. I used another dimensional dot to attach the word bubble with “smile” stamped in it over the gator. A green button, tied with twine, finishes the design.
