Papertrey Ink August Blog Hop-Picnic Inspired

For this month's Papertrey Ink blog hop, I was inspired by the vintage picnic basket in the inspiration photo. I included a few other elements from the photo, including a bunch of flowers and a bit of fabric, in my simple project.

I stamped the woven basket image on kraft cardstock, then used a scrap of pink and cream gingham fabric to add the napkin peeking over the side. Love the texture from the fabric! The flowers inside the basket are colored with Copic markers.

I used the same fabric on the cardfront as I did for the napkin in the basket. A strip of pink grosgrain ribbon runs across the fabric and cardfront. I used some twine to tie a matching pink button on to the end of the ribbon. The "I'm here for you" sentiment from Vintage Picnic Sentiments is stamped underneath the fabric.

Materials Used:
Vintage Picnic and Vintage Picnic Sentiments, Sweet Blush, Kraft, and White cardstock, Sweet Blush grosgrain ribbon, Sweet Blush button, twine (Papertrey Ink); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); circle dies (Spellbinders); pinking shears
